1. Who we are

onepairleft.co.uk ("One Pair Left", "we", "us") is run by Cottonmill Holdings Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 12610999. Our registered office is The Bank Building, 34 Burnley Road, Padiham, Lancashire, BB12 8BW. You can contact us at hello@onepairleft.co.uk. Cottonmill Holdings Ltd is not registered for VAT.

2. These terms

These terms apply to every order you place with us as a consumer. Please read them before ordering. By placing an order, you agree to them. We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force when you order applies to your order.

3. Our products

  • We sell new, boxed footwear bought from surplus and end-of-line stock. We are an independent retailer and are not an authorised stockist of, or connected with, the brands we sell.
  • We photograph and describe each pair accurately. Colours on screen may vary slightly from the real shoe. Product photos may show the same model and colour in a different size from the pair you buy.
  • Most listings are a single pair. Stock can sell at any time, including while it's in your basket.

4. Ordering and the contract

  • When you place an order, you'll receive an email confirming that we've received it. This does not mean we've accepted your order.
  • Our contract with you starts when we email to confirm your order has been dispatched.
  • We may decline an order if the pair is no longer available, if there is an obvious pricing or description error, or if we can't deliver to your address. If we decline after you've paid, we'll refund you in full.

5. Prices and payment

  • Prices are in pounds sterling. Because we are not VAT registered, no VAT is charged. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay.
  • If we've made an obvious error in a price, we'll contact you. You can then proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
  • We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card details.

6. Delivery

Delivery is covered on our Delivery and returns page, which forms part of these terms. The shoes become yours once we've received full payment. They are your responsibility once delivered.

7. Your right to cancel

You can cancel within 14 days of receiving your order, as set out on our Delivery and returns page. That page explains how to cancel, who pays for the return, and how and when you'll be refunded.

8. Faulty items and your legal rights

We are under a legal duty to supply goods that are as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. Nothing in these terms affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. For advice about your rights, contact Citizens Advice.

9. Genuine guarantee

Every pair we sell is genuine. If you have any doubt, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we'll give you a full refund, as described on our How it works page.

10. Our liability

  • We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.
  • We are not responsible for business losses. Our products are for personal use only.
  • Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

11. Events outside our control

We're not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. If one affects your order, we'll contact you, and you can cancel for a full refund.

12. Complaints

If something goes wrong, contact us at hello@onepairleft.co.uk and we'll aim to reply within 2 working days.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
